Kristin Fisher joined CNN on July 20, 2021 as Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent she will cover everything from NASA and the newly created Space Force, to commercial space firms and the emergence of space tourism. Kristin is her mother was one of NASA astronauts, and also a space enthusiast was raised in the industry. She served for five years as the White House correspondent for FOX News covering space policy under the Biden and Trump administrations. Kristin also covered presidential impeachment proceedings, the 2020 Presidential campaign and the efforts of two administrations in order to stop the spread of the Coronavirus. Additionally, she traveled with President Trump and Vice President Trump often. The trip included a shady visit to Afghanistan. Kristin was a local television reporter in Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., where she earned an Emmy Award for her work as a "one-man-band" reporter before becoming a reporter for CBS in 2015. Kristin made use of her experiences behind the lens to start Field Mouse Films. The firm specialized in making documentary films, and became a preferred choice among corporate clients, including Uber, Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Boston University. She is married to her husband and their two children in Washington, D.C., and has a three-year old daughter.
